Joe’s Butcher Shop and Fish Market supports a wide array of charitable organizations throughout central Indiana. Our donations usually take the form of gift certificates for silent auctions, or donations of goods in kind or at our cost. We have a set budget for our giving that is filled on a first come, first served basis.

We prefer to give to organizations that make an impact locally, within Hamilton County. We give preference to organizations that deal with feeding the poor or aged, religious organizations that are supporting charitable projects, public schools and education foundations, public service organizations, police and fire departments, veterans groups, organizations that aid sick or chronically ill children, humane societies, and organizations that deal with the human treatment of farm animals.

Joe’s allows local clubs and organizations to use the front of Joe’s for BBQ or grilling fund raising events with the stipulation that all meats and sauces are purchased through Joe’s.

Joe’s does not sponsor “pay for play” athletics, nationally based charitable organizations, or organizations that are seeking administrative funding only.
