MemberFavorite_twitterThanksgiving is closing in on us and everyone is starting to prepare for the busy holiday season. As soon as the turkey leftovers are stashed in the refrigerator, people hit the malls and shopping centers for those Black Friday deals. We prefer to do something a little bit different at Joe’s. We prefer to stay in on Thanksgiving with our friends and family and enjoy the holiday to its fullest. Saturday is the perfect day to go out, get some holiday shopping done and stop by our favorite local spots.

So, what is Small Business Saturday? Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and focus on our community and local businesses (Don’t worry; awesome deals are part of the day too).

We will be participating by offering $5 off of every $50 you spend on Saturday, November 28.

You also get your loyalty points for purchases made on Small Business Saturday. Come get everything you need to get you through the holiday season.

Small Business Saturday started in 2010 as a response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but this day is dedicated to supporting local businesses and the community. It encourages people across the country to come together and support the communities they live and work in.

The past few years have seen monumental growth and support for Small Business Saturday. In 2013 it was estimated that $14.3 billion dollars were spent by shoppers in small businesses in their communities across the country.
