Ingredients

  • 2 sockeye salmon fillets (from Joe’s Seafood)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For Garlic Herb Butter:
    • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 tsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
    • Juice of half a lemon

Instructions

  1. Season salmon with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes, then flip and cook 2–3 minutes more.
  4. In a separate pan or microwave, melt butter with garlic, herbs, and lemon juice.
  5. Drizzle garlic herb butter over salmon before serving.
