We are proud to announce that Joe’s Butcher Shop has become a retail location for Lucy’s Bakery in Indianapolis. Owned by local’s Matt and Rachel Frey, owners of Bub’s Burgers, Lucy’s Bakery was a natural progression for the Frey’s to ensure a fresh supply of high quality buns for Bub’s Burger’s three locations. We asked Lucy’s Bakery to make a line of fresh baked, all natural, artisan breads that would match the quality of our proteins. Lucy’s Bakery delivered on our request and will be delivering a variety of fresh, free form loaves (un-sliced for you to use as you wish) every Wednesday afternoon!
Fresh Challah, Marbled Rye, Sourdough, Multigrain French and Cinnamon Raisin breads, along with soft hamburger buns, hot dog buns, poppy seed buns and more bread varieties and delivery days to follow as these fresh artisan products gain a following. Lucy’s Bakery breads are certified IOBK Kosher (Indianapolis Orthodox Board of Kasrhus) too! Worried that your other Joe’s favorites will disappear? Don’t.
